In addition, this plugin can backup your website files and database with the separate schedules.

This plugin does not require any time-consuming configuring process. You can click the Settings > UpdraftPlus Backups button directly. From the Current Status tab, you can click the Backup Now button to make a manual backup of your site. Here, you have the freedom to include the database and the website files into the backup.

Or, you can manage the backup schedules. Once the time reaches, the plugin will start the backup automatically. For this, you need to click the Settings tab.

Create the Client ID and Drive API

For the utilization of Google Drive in this plugin, you should enter the Client ID and the Client Secret. To get these two parts, you should click this link that redirects you to the Google API Console. From this page, you can create a new ID and enable the Drive API.

After entering the Google Drive ID and secret of the new client, you have already associated this plugin with the Google Drive service. Next, you can enable some additional backup targets that include the plugins, themes, uploads and all the directories stored inside the wp-content folder. Even, you can check the email box to have the backup report sent to your mailbox.

Now, after saving the settings, the backup will be started manually or automatically as you want. All your backup files can be found from the Existing Backups section. Here, you can find your files from the local folder or from the remote storage offered by Google Drive.
